Rain wouldn’t dampen the spirits of the Hampden-bound Bairns who queued up to seal their place at this mopnth’s Scottish Cup final.
A reunion with former Falkirk boss John Hughes is on the cards and hundreds of fans descended upon the Falkirk Stadium to get their hands on the prized tickets as soon as they went onsale at 9.30 a.m.
Kieran Koszary, the club’s business development manager said: “We have been overwhelmed by the interest in the cup final as, naturally, the excitement builds towards the big day.
“Everyone at the club shares that excitement and the shop has been very busy as a result of tickets going on sale this morning.
“We are investigating linking up with Falkirk Council to have tickets available from other locations throughout the district, and we will also be holding cash only days for the ease and convenience of supporters.”
