Falkirk fan Hayley Leitch from Grangemouth hit the jackpot when she MISSED OUT on a £1898 cash prize.
She landed a money can’t buy chance to be THE first Falkirk fan to wear the new kit for season 2020-21.
The new Puma gear was delivered to her door on Monday morning as the new shirts, which always split opinions, went on sale.
She entered the club’s virtual 50-50 draw on Saturday and was picked at random by Falkirk Stadium MC Dave McIntosh after the club’s screening of a 4-1 win over Livingston in Saturday’s Watch It Again Weekend with Falkirk TV and The Falkirk Herald.
The cash prize, approaching £2000, went to Richard Clossick but the additional bonus of a home shirt of the traditional navy blue, but this year with a patterned front body panel and red trim, went to the teacher.
This year’s away strip is red - only the second time this decade the Bairns have deviated from a white or yellow change kit.
As with last year adult shirts again cost £48 with shorts £25. However delivery is £5.95 with no click and collect option available.
Full strips for children including shorts and socks will set customers back an eye-watering £68 again with shirts £38, shorts £20 and socks £10.
Infant mini-kits are £38.
