Dundee versus Falkirk has been postponed for a second time, but the two sidelined sides know who awaits the victors.
A waterlogged pitch at Dens Park saw Saturday’s scheduled fourth round tie cancelled shortly after 10am on the morning of the match, then last night, it was called off again 24 hours from the new kick-off.
Dundee have said urgent work will need to be carried out to repair the pitch which has been badly affected by the recent bad weather.
This second postponement came just moments after the William Hill Scottish Cup draw by Gary Anderson and Brian Laudrup at Hampden.
It paired the Bairns, or Dundee, with a visit to Dumbarton in the last 16 with the tie to be played on February 6.
That’s just a week and a half after the re-arranged match between the Dark Blues and the Navy Blues. It is hoped to be third time lucky with Falkirk now heading to the City of Discovery on Tuesday, January 26.
