Betfred Cup fixture schedule: Falkirk on TV but no Saturday games for the Bairns

Falkirk and Stenhousemuir have learned their Betfred Cup fixtures this afternoon – and Falkirk have no Saturday games in the calendar.

The Bairns kick off the league cup competition at home to Kilmarnock on Tuesday, October 6 and in a quickfire turnaround head to East End Park three days later for the derby with Dunfermline on Friday night – October 9. That match has been selected for TV coverage on Premier Sports.

The following week the Bairns are in Tuesday night action again at home to Clyde before a break of almost a month and the group stage concludes with a trip to Dumbarton on Tuesday, November 10.

For the Warriors it’s a watching brief on the first days of the competition and they kick-off their campaign on Saturday October 10 at Edinbburgh City.

Then they host Airdrie on Tuesday October 13 and then Livingston on November 10.

Their Group H round of fixtures finishes at Alloa on Saturday, November 14.

Other games selected for TV coverage are Hearts v Inverness (October 6), Cove Rangers v Hibs (October 10), Hearts v Raith Rovers (October 13) and St Johnstone v Dundee United (November 10).
