Falkirk manager Gary Holt has released a group of his first-team players, but re-signed two.
Steven Brisbane and Will Vaulks have signed contracts keeping them at the Bairns but other deals have not been forthcoming for Darren Dods.
He played his last game for Falkirk on Saturday and that game also marked the final appearance for another two Bairns - Sean Higgins and David Weatherston.
Midfielders Dale Fulton and Iain Flannigan have also not been offered new terms and will follow the club captain, winger Weatherston and Saturday’s goalscorer Higgins out of the club as Gary Holt rings the changes.
The Bairns boss made his first signing of the summer in former Norwich and Spurs defender Scott Olumide Durojaiye and has offered deals to Stewart Murdoch and Michael McGovern.
The Falkirk Herald also understands moves are being made to retain the services of Holt’s assistant Stevie Crawford, though no deal has been finalised or revealed as yet.
