Falkirk are set to see a second player leave within a week.
Ryan McGeever departed for the south side of Glasgow and another player is to follow him out of the Bairns and head south too.
The Falkirk Herald understands a sale will go through today. The identity of the player leaving is still unclear.
Interest in the Bairns has been slower than some expected, though rumours have linked Will Vaulks with a move to Hibs or Rangers as well as Botti Biabi to Swansea.
The protracted deal for forward Biabi appears the most likely to go through and has rumbled on all summer since The Falkirk Herald revealed interest from the Welsh club in early June. However no formal bid or paperwork from the Premier League club was ever received by the Bairns and that was still the case as The Falkirk Herald went to press earlier this week.
Ryan McGeever left Falkirk a week ago and signed for Queen’s Park.
