Zak Rudden is the first signing of Ray McKinnon’s Falkirk tenure.
The new Falkirk manager was announced just minutes before his new recruit in a few frantichours before the transfer deadline passed in Scotland.
He’ll join the Bairns on a loan deal from Ibrox until January.
Rudden has already seen his new team-mates up close having played, and scored against the Bairns in the Irn Bru Challenge Cup for Rangers Colts earlier this month.
The Bairns were also rumoured to be bringing right-back Anthony Ralston to the club, but instead signed his Old Firm rival before the window closed.Another player Rudden will not be sharing a dressing room with is Alex Harris. The winger severed ties with Falkirk shortly before McKinnon’s deal was announced and he is free to find a new club in coming days - free agents are not restricted by the transfer deadline.
Falkirk play Ross County tomorrow.
