Falkirk were unaffected by today’s traffic problems on the M80.
Boss Gary Holt learned of the difficulties on his way to the Stadium and forewarned the players travelling from the west of Scotland.
Holt told The Falkirk herald: “We had a good training session as normal today.
“I leave the house in plenty of time so I found out and text all the guys to take a different route and they all arrived ready for work.”
Players such as Rory Loy, Mark Millar, Kieran Duffie and Ryan McGeever travel to The Falkirk Stadium from Glasgow and beyond.
Traffic reports estimate a travel time along the M80 at Castlecary at 90 minutes after a lorry overturned near the railway bridge between Cumbernauld and Allandale early this morning.
Yesterday morning, players were preparing for the usual Monday session but it was postponed with the Falkirk Cup taking place on the pitch at Westfield.
