Falkirk bring in Dundee United pair Lewis Neilson and Kai Fotheringham on loan

Falkirk have further bolstered their squad for the rest of the season with the additions of Dundee United’s Lewis Neilson and Kai Fortheringham on loan.

The pair become the second and third loan signings for the Bairns since they returned to training last week, following the signing of Rangers’ Kyle McClelland last week.

17-year old Neilson, a defender who has played at both right back and the right side of the defence in his nine first team appearances for the Arabs this season, made his debut on the in August 2020 when he started against St Johnstone on the opening day of the Premiership season.

Fotheringham, also 17, is an attacking midfielder who can play on either side.

He has started one Premiership game for United this season and was previously with the Forth Valley Academy.

He has represented Scotland at an under-16 level, playing against Australia.
