Express Taxis give Camelon Juniors a lift with sponsorship deal

Camelon Juniors have unveiled Express Taxis as their main shirt sponsor for the new campaign - their centenary season.

Several of the company’s drivers, and manager Andrew Buchanan, joined Mariners’ manager Gordon Herd and assistant Eamonn Fulleraton at Carmuirs Park to launch the new deal, initallly for one-year.

Club secretary Tony Smith said: “We’re delighted to have a company with the history and brand prestige of Express Taxis with us for our centenary season.”

Mr Buchanan added: “Covid-19 has presented an unprecedented challenge to business but when the opportunity came to sponsor a club doing so much good work in the local community, it seemed the perfect match to get involved.

“We hope it won’t be too long before we can all enjoy getting out to support our teams again.”

The Mariners also signed current player Alan Docherty’s brother Steven from East Kilbride last night.
