Falkirk Juniors’ defeat at Blackburn United spelled the end for boss Robert Lee.

The Js boss left after one win in the opening six games of the season.

On his decision to quit Lee, who was also red carded during the game, told Heraldsport: “In the end I am ultimately responsible for the results at Falkirk Juniors and recently they have not been good enough.

“We have only managed one win this season and confidence is low. So hopefully Falkirk JFC can now appoint a manager who can get them back on track. The squad was looking stronger this season and we had been looking forward to being up at the right end of the league challenging for promotion.

“That hasn’t turned out to be the case but I have enjoyed my time with FJFC and I wish the players and committee all the best for the future.”
