Ex-Dundee United captain trains with Bairns

The midfielder played at Tannadice under Bairns boss Peter Houston but was released in June.

A deal appears unlikely at this stage though as the boss is only seeking a goalkeeper to add to his current squad.

The Bairns had hoped to bring Danny Rogers back to the club on loan from Aberdeen. The Dons stopper posed for photos on the runway with his parent club this week though as they flew out to their Europa League qualifier.
