East Stirlingshire captain Nicky Low to make Arbroath move permanent
East Stirlingshire captain Nicky Low will leave club at the end of his current deal to sign a two year deal with Arbroath.
The 29-year old, former Aberdeen and Dundee midfielder, joined the Lichties on-loan for the latter part of their Championship campaign after the Lowland League season was prematurely concluded.
He played a crucial part in their survival and impressed enough to be awarded a deal by manager Dick Campbell after starting in their five final matches, all of which were crucial fixtures for the Angus side.
A League Cup winner with Aberdeen in 2014, Low joined the Shire in 2019 after a short spell at Queen of the South.
Injuries had hampered his career but his quality shone through during his two years at the Falkirk Stadium where he stood out as one of the top players in the Lowland League.
