Double award joy for Falkirk duo

Rogers has been in fine form, conceding just three home goals all season and was only beaten twice during December - in a 1-1 draw with Hibs at Easter Road and by Barrie Mackay’s strike for Rangers in a 2-1 win for the Bairns.
Those clean sheets have helped the Bairns on to an 11-game unbeaten run in all competitions and that streak – which runs back to October and a disputed 1-0 home defeat to Hibs – contributed to Peter Houston’s recognition as did the Bairns leap-frogging the Hibees into second-spot in the league table.

Last week Houston said: “It’s done the paperwork has been lodged and he’s here until the end of the season.”
However Danny Ward’s impending return to Liverpool from Pittodrie has added to speculation there could be a recall for the Republic of Ireland under-21 goalkeeper to leave the Bairns’ Championship pursuit for the second half of Aberdeen’s SPFL Premiership season.
Any return for Rogers is dependent on aberdeen requesting his return and both the Bairns and player accepting the move back.
