The Bairns will have the unusual luxury of shooting into two ‘home ends’ after the club filled the north end of the ground with ‘fans of the future’.

The club has handed out more than 2000 tickets to local schools, football clubs and youth organisations for the Ladbrokes SPFL match which will also form the end point of the ‘Kelpies to Kick-off’ walk.

Commercial director Kieran Koszary: “Schools, Boys’ Brigade companies, youth organisations and football teams have all taken up the offer which is a fantastic boost for the club – we’re delighted to welcome these fans of the future and their families along to The Falkirk Stadium on Saturday.

“Having spoken to the players after training this week, they’re delighted to be shooting towards two very full stands at either end of the ground.”

New assistant manager Gordon Young has spoken publicly about his positive impression of the club’s fanbase since he arrived at the Bairns (more P86) and another large crowd is anticipated.

Space is still available for fans to attend the match in the south or main stands while season ticket holders can also bring a friend to the game for a discounted £10 entry.

Koszary added: “The day will be very much a community orientated day for what is one of our biggest matches of the season, with the Kelpies to Kick-off also fully subscribed.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone and hope for a positive experience – and result – on the day.”
