Connor McMullan put them in front after 28 minutes and Stephen Docherty - on as an early substitute for the injured Conor McKenzie - added a second with a screamer four minutes from the break.

Mark Stowe made it 3-0 in 51 minutes and McMullan's second of the afternoon five minutes later put the result of the tie beyond any doubt.

Grant Noble pulled one back for the hosts near the end but it wasn't enough to prevent the Mariners sailing through.
