Boss Lejman leaves Falkirk Juniors

The boss took over the reigns from Robert Lee in October 2014 and has seen the FJs establish themselves as a Central Premier Division side.

In a statement to the Falkirk Herald Lejman announced his decision, which follows four of the Juniors players defecting to neighbours Camelon.

However Lejman insists the club will still continue despite the departure of one of its’ key founders.

He said: “Changes in my personal circumstances have dictated that I am unable to perform the roles and responsibilities going forward and as such I have to step away from the club for the time being.

“I look back with pride in my achievements, including winning promotion in 2015, racking up 18 wins and two draws with local talent. I’m also delighted to have brought a Community Club award and Quality Mark status to Falkirk Juniors, in conjunction with our sister club Syngenta and with help from Alan Morgan the SFA Development Manager.

He will be replaced by ex-Albion Rovers and Bo’ness player David Lapsley. Alan Keir (Club Secretary) and Matthew Christie (Treasurer) remain in role.
