FALKIRK have hit-out at the choice of venue for this weekend’s Scottish Youth Cup clash against Hibernian.
The young Bairns have been told they will face the Edinburgh-based side at their training complex in East Lothian instead of at Easter Road Stadium.
Head of Youth Development Ross Wilson said; “We’re disappointed that Hibs have chosen to play the match at their training centre.
“Whilst it is not a regulation to play youth cup matches in the club’s stadium it is certainly the preferred option.
“The Youth Cup is a prestigious tournament, one that all players at youth level look forward to playing in.
“We are fully supportive of any measures that the SFA has to ensure that all matches in this competition are played in the home clubs’s recognised stadium.”
The Bairns go into the fixture full of confidence after comprehensively defeating Partick Thistle 4-0 at the weekend.
