Bairns captain McCracken signs on

He announced a new one-year deal today, extending his stay with the Bairns to a fourth season.

The central defender was signed by Gary Holt and lists Brentford, Dundee United and St Johnstone among his former clubs.

And McCracken said he was “absolutely delighted to be looking forward to another season at Falkirk”.

He added: “The past few years there has been great progression and I’m sure next year will continue to be the same, it’s an honour to captain the club and lead an incredible set of players.”

He signed a one-year extension in March last year alongside defensive partner Aaron Muirhead.
