AMATEUR CUP ROUND-UP: Harestanes through, but replays for Linlithgow, Stenny and Colville Park

Harestanes are trying to retain the Scottish Amateur Cup they won last May

Holders Harestanes are safely through to the last eight of the Scottish Amateur Cup.

The Kirkintilloch side kept on course to retain their trophy with a 1-0 success at home to Letham on Saturday in their seventh round match.

But Foster’s Central AFL table toppers Colville Park face a replay after being held 2-2 by Stenhousemuir Community at Dalziel Park.

Linlithgow Thistle, never previously beyond the fourth round, were also involved in a thriller which ended all square. drawing 3-3 with Denistoun Vale.

In other matches Drumchapel, Possil YM, Oban Saints and Shortlees booked their quarter-final places while Leven United and East Kilbride YM must play again after a 1-1 draw.

The replays are due to be played next Saturday.
