ALANA Marshall is in line to make her Scotland debut on Sunday after being called up to the women’s national squad for the match against Wales.
The Boroughmuir winger, who works at the Malcolm Allen factory in Tamfourhill, is a former Falkirk Ladies’ player but now plies her trade in the Premier League after a brief spell with Hibs.
She told Heraldsport: “I’ve been to a few Scotland training camps before but this is my first time in a squad.
“I’d like to thank a lot of people, but especially everyone here at Malcolm Allen who have been brilliant with letting me away from work to play- especially my bosses Gordon and James.”
The humble 23-year-old despatch supervisor also wanted to pay tribute to coaches Pauline McDonald and Chris Roberts, and her family, for supporting her to, she hopes, national success on Sunday.
