FALKIRK will run the rule over two French trialists - recommended by Farid El Alagui.
The striker may be leaving the Bairns in three matches time, but he could leave a partijng gift for his beloved Bairns fans - in the form of two recommended players.
Boss Steven Pressley is keen to have a look. “Hopefully they can have a similar impact at the club that Farid has had.”
Both trialists are forward players and one will join the squad on Monday.
The Falkirk Herald also understands another English-based player is also being sought for assessment by Pressley.
The Bairns boss is also taking to Michael McGovern over renewing his deal with the Bairns, though hasn’t himself put pen to paper on his three-year contract.
The manager’s agent is currently abroad which is causing the delay
But Pressley is reassuring fans: “It’s all agreed, we’ve shaken hands and it should be done after the Raith Rovers game at the weekend.”
n DEFENDER Tam Scobbie may have played his last game for his hometown club.
The Bairns vice-captain will miss Saturday’s game after injuring an ankle against Queen of the South and the club’s medical team fear it could leave him out for the rest of the season.
Left-sided back-up Stephen Kingsley is currently on Scotland duty and could face a third game in five days as Scobbie’s replacement.
