There had been a few games within the club over the last few weekends but this was the long awaited chance to take to the field against other local sides. The first XI travelled to play Stirling County at Willamfield and the 2nd XI took on St. Modan’s at Bannockburn. The Sunday XI took on Westquarter at the Tryst.

The results were not the most important thing and it was good fielding three sides over the weekend. The first XI lost by eight wickets at Williamfield .

That is the season up and running with more friendlies scheduled for this week end.

On Saturday the first XI are away to Drumpellier with the respective second XIs meeting at the Tryst. On Sunday there is a friendly at the Tryst with Dunfermline Wanderers. Perhaps with games under their belt, the scores may be a bit higher.
