We’ve selected four of the district’s best sportsmen and sportswomen who have excelled in 2016.

Last year Stevie Beattie, the lightweight boxer, landed the award but who will win this year’s award? Vote here.

The award will be presented at the Falkirk Sports Council Awards ceremony in March 2017.

Nominations are open for the 12 amateur categories at the awards to be judged by the Sports Council’s panel of experts. Nominations must be made by January 16, 2017
