FALKIRK players paid for their overnight stay after falling to defeat in Dingwall.
The Bairns fell behind to an early free-kick from Richard Brittain and, although Mark Stewart equalised in bizarre circumstances, County went on to win.
The Staggies werre clearly the dominant side in the second half - though Falkirk had three chances to snatch the game, through Carl Finnigan and Ryan Flynn.
They weren’t taken and Andy Barrowman again found the net against the Bairns to give the northern side the full quota of points and send Falkirk players dipping into their pockets.
Even more costlier than the three points, the Bairns also lost Brian McLean and Mark Millar to injury in the first half.
There wasn’t much better news for Stenhousemuir who lost in Brechin, despite taking a first half lead through Scott Dalziel.
East Stirlingshire also lost, 2-1 at home to Montrose.
