Wheelchairs, adjustable beds, riser recliners, scooters: Mobility aids for sale and hire in Polmont, Falkirk
In truth, nobody would choose to be shopping for mobility aids – but when life happens and the need arises, a bit of blue sky thinking can help – and this Polmont mobility showroom can help turn tricky situations into same day solutions.

Helpful advice
In many cases it is the family doing the shopping for a loved one, unsure what’s the best solution, and that’s where the team come into their own.
Sean said: “I always say that when people leave the showroom, even if they have not decided to buy, they had friendly and helpful advice.
“Some of these products cost a lot of money to buy, and we know it’s important to get it right, so we offer a ‘try-before –you-buy’ service. You could hire a mobility scooter from us for a week for example, including insurance and delivery, and try it at home. Check it fits in the car, can go up the side of the house etc, or help you enjoy wee trips out to the Kelpies. And if you decide to buy at any point within the next four weeks, we will discount the entire rental cost from your purchase.”
From a walking stick to a hospital bed, a comfortable chair which fits and feels every bit as good as it looks, the team will listen to your story and help you choose the right solution.
There when you need them
Sean added: “We often have people contacting us when their loved one is about to be discharged from hospital with just a day’s notice, and they’ve not got a bespoke riser chair, bed or wheelchair. Ordering the one they want in the exact size and colour is likely to take up to four weeks.
“If you place an order we will be happy to loan you a temporary solution within 24 hours, so they can be safe and comfortable at home as soon as possible.”
With no sales pressure, the showroom is a warm and welcoming place to find advice and browse products.
There’s a free delivery service within 20 miles of Klondyke Polmont, and a superb aftercare service.
“We have our own engineers and our own fleet of vans,” says Sean. “If something goes wrong, we guarantee to fix or replace it same day or next. We know these are not fun purchases, like new golf clubs or a hairdo, people are buying mobility items because they need them, and we are committed to ensuring they don’t go without.”
