The Bafta-winning show, which was originally broadcast on BBC Four and ceased airing in 2016, saw the creator of Black Mirror review television programmes and make commentary on how TV is produced.

Who else will feature in the episode?

The upcoming episode will feature regulars from previous series, such as Philomena Cunk (Diane Morgan) and Barry Sh*tpeas (Al Campbell), and will offer their “own very special brand of in-depth reporting”, according to the BBC.

Other contributors will also be involved, although they have not yet been named.

What will the episode cover?

The show will focus on the current pandemic, and discuss the current lockdown and the effect it has had on the UK, as well as highlighting what people are watching while they remain indoors.

“Charlie Brooker has been lured out of isolation, to go into isolation for the one-off,” said the BBC.

“Charlie will be taking a typically sharp look at life in lockdown, in a show made during lockdown. As well as coverage of the crisis itself, he’ll also be looking at the things people are watching and doing to keep themselves occupied.”

When will Antiviral Wipe be on TV?

The special episode will air on BBC2 at 9pm, with a 30 minute run time.
