THE DETAILS: Logan was born at 5.30pm on July 17 in Forth Valley Royal Hospital weighing 6lb 14.5oz.
THE PARENTS: New mum Lauren Carruthers (24) works in the pension sector and dad Simon Conlin (26) is a plumber. The Shieldhill couple are engaged and set to tie the knot next June.
THE PREGNANCY: Lauren described her pregnancy as the easiest nine months ever. She said: “I had no morning sickness or anything like that, I could not have asked for a better first pregnancy.”
THE BIRTH: Logan arrived four days early and Lauren said she couldn’t complain as the birth was fairly quick and straightforward.
THE BABY: Logan sleeps well and does not really cry according to his mum. She said: “He is very happy and content.”
THE NAME: The couple had a short list of names they liked and eventually shortened it to just two names. When Logan was born both parents agreed he suited Logan more than the other name on offer. Robert is after Simon’s grandad.
