Sergeant David Marr, of the Divisional Road Policing Unit based in Stirling, said: “Our enquiries are continuing to establish the cause of this crash and I would appeal to anyone with information to come forward.

“This is a very busy roundabout next to the local motorway services, and I am urging any witnesses or anyone who was driving there around the time of the crash who has dash-cam footage to contact us.”

Anyone with information should contact the Divisional Road Policing Unit through 101, quoting reference number 2787 of August 30.
