Woman cut free from car after Larbert smash

A woman had to be cut free from the wreckage of a car after a rush hour incident on the M876 near Larbert.

The casualty was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital by ambulance after the one vehicle collision, which happened on eastbound road near junction one just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

Two appliances from Larbert Fire Station attended the scene and were able to help the woman from the car using hydraulic cutting equipment.

No one else was reported hurt in the incident and the woman’s condition is not known at this time.
