The Falkirk Herald has teamed up with The Scottish Steak Club at the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel & Spa to give readers the chance to win a decadent meal for two with a bottle of house wine.
Opened earlier this summer under the direction of head chef Dawid Kaleta, The Scottish Steak Club has already established itself as one of the area’s busiest eateries.
With a focus on fresh produce and the finest cuts of meat, the restaurant is a foodies heaven that is open all day, every day. A stylish interior, laid back ambience, well stocked bar and first class service make it the perfect venue for any occasion.
Starters include John Ross Jnr smoked salmon with traditional garnishing (£7.50), shallot tart with goats cheese and rocket salad (£5.50) and haggis, neeps and tatties with whisky sauce (£5/£9).
Moving on to the mains, highlights include the 230g sirloin steak cut from the centre of the loin (£19), the 200g prime beef burger (£11) and grilled king prawns (£7.50/£15.00).
Other a la carte options include the 350g Rib eye steak cut from the centre of the rib (£24) and sharing platters which consist of a butcher’s board, pastrami beef, potted parfait, smoked venison, piccalilli and pickled gherkins (£7.50).
To round off the meal in style, guests can enjoy something from the dessert menu such as hot chocolate fudge cake (£5.00), trio of crème brulee for sharing (£8) and sticky toffee pudding (£5).
The Scottish Steak Club is now open for booking. To reserve a table, call (01324) 710650 or book online at www.scottishsteakclub.co.uk
