Will you put the kettle on for a worthy cause?
The supermarket invited Scottish singer and presenter Michelle McManus to launch this year’s Strawberry Tea campaign to encourage catch ups with family and friends over cake and raise funds for charity at the same time.
Over 60 Asda stores across Scotland will, for the first time, join Breast Cancer Care’s annual summer fundraiser.

There will also be information on how the public can join in and host their own Strawberry Tea, as well as background about the charity and the services it provides.
All money raised will help Breast Cancer Care provide support for women, men, family and friends affected by breast cancer.
Michelle is encouraging the public to put their skills to charitable use and support this cause.
She said: “I’m supporting Breast Cancer Care’s Strawberry Tea campaign because I think it is a wonderful way to raise money for such a worthy cause with your nearest and dearest.
