Power Station

The Power Station will hold an AGM on Monday, June 29 at 7 p.m., not 8 p.m. as previously advertised. Support always needed so all welcome to attend. Volunteers needed for the centre particularly for the Junior Youth Clubs. Unless enough support is shown, the youth clubs may close and the committee certainly don’t want that happening. Remember folks “if you don’t use it, you lose it.” The Fun Day preparations are still going well, with more details to follow. The Community Cafe is open every Tuesday from noon-2 p.m. offering lovely home made food. It will close at the end of June for a weeks holiday. Start date will be published nearer the time.

Muiravonside Church

Last Sunday morning service in Muiravonside Parish Church was conducted by the Minister Rev. Louise McClements. During the intimations a warm welcome was given to Mrs Jacqueline Dignan, our ‘organist’ for the service. This Sunday, morning service will commence at the usual time of 11.30 a.m. The Falkirk Foodbank and the Falkirk Homeless project is still ongoing and there is a box in the vestibule to collect any donations for these causes. Any magazine articles for our next newsletter should go to Yvonne at Shieldhill Church as soon as possible. If anyone is interested in receiving a copy of the morning service, please see Jackie Napier after the service. The Haining Nursing Home is holding a Joseph and his amazing Technicolor Dreamboat theme Friday in the ‘Home’ from 1 p.m. Come along and share in the fun.
