The award of £8592 will allow it to maintain the current programme of youth and holiday clubs until August 2017.

The group works with over 150 young people and provides a space for young people to meet and learn together.

Lynne Belton, project manager, said: “The award will allow us to continue running two very successful youth clubs.

‘‘As the only traditional youth service in the area, parents value the types of activities the clubs offers their children.’’

Other beneficiaries include Denny and Dunipace Citizen’s Advice Bureau, 51st Dennyloanhead Scout Group and Bonnybridge Angling Club.

The fund is administered by Foundation Scotland and distributes monies provided by Falck Renewables and Falkirk Todhill Wind
