HOW THEY MET: Kevin shyly approached Nicola in Behind The Wall back in 2003 and the couple have been together since.

THE PROPOSAL: Four years ago, on Christmas morning, Kevin popped the question. He hid the ring box inside a box which was in a slightly bigger box and so on. Nicola said it was the most romantic gift idea he had ever had and was surprised by the proposal.

THE WEDDING: The couple were married on September 5 at the Park Hotel in Falkirk. With 90 people attending the ceremony and a further 60 coming at night, Nicola said the day was perfect.

THE WEDDING PARTY: The three best men were Kevin’s brothers, Graham, Brian and Ian. Nicola had four bridesmaids, sister Stacey, cousin Danielle, step-daughter Sam and best friend Gayle.

THE HONEYMOON: Nicola and Kevin spent a week in Mexico, which was long enough before they began to miss their two dogs, Ty and Teagan.

THANKS: A big thank you to friends and family and also to everyone who made the wedding extra special.
