Wedding of the Week: Lauren Douglas and Rory Grundison

Lauren (26) is a primary teacher in Falkirk and Rory (26) is a scientist. The pair live in Grangemouth.

HOW THEY MET: The couple first met while at a friend’s 18th birthday party and afterwards Rory added Lauren on Bebo. The pair had their first date in January 2009.

THE PROPOSAL: Rory popped the question on a beach in Oldshoremore after writing the question in the sand. However, the couple almost didn’t make it to their
destination after their car broke down on the way to the North of Scotland and Lauren wanted to turn back rather than continue the journey.
