Wedding of the week: Keri Forrester and Craig Watters

Keri Forrester (29) is from Laurieston and is a staff nurse at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, while Craig Watters (34) is from Larbert and is an emergency responder for Ineos. The couple live in Larbert and are expecting their first baby in February.

HOW THEY MET: They met at a friend’s party. They got on really well and started dating in 2005.

THE PROPOSAL: Craig proposed on September 30, 2015 whilst on the Bixby Bridge , California. Keri said it was the most romantic thing he’d ever done.

THE WEDDING: They were married at The Parsonage in Airth on May 19. They had 83 day guests and 170 at night. Keri said it was amazing and Craig’s nerves were shredded after she turned up 45 minutes late when she forgot her jewellery.

WEDDING PARTY: The best man was Richard Lindsay. The ushers were Derek Johnstone, Scott Henderson and Dale Watters. The page boy was Jamie Muirhead. The maid of honour was Evonne Ballantine and bridesmaids were Lori Forrester and Jayne Morrow.

HONEYMOON: The couple went on a “dream” road trip around South Africa.
