Wedding of the Week: Claire Oliver and Grant Cieslar

Claire (27) is a teacher at Larbert High School and Grant (29) is a warehouse operative. The couple live in Falkirk.

HOW THEY MET: Grant and Claire knew each other from their high school days, but lost contact over the years. The pair then met again back in 2009 through mutual 
friends.

THE PROPOSAL: Grant got down on one knee in Turkey in 2014. They were on the beach at sunset when Grant popped the question.

THE WEDDING: Claire and Grant were married on March 27 at the Parsonage in Airth. Claire said: “The whole day was fantastic. It was great to see all our friends and family have a good time.” The couple had 120 guests at the ceremony and around 180 at the reception.

THE WEDDING PARTY: Grant’s best man was his friend Ian Davidson and Claire’s maid of honour was her sister Gemma Campbell. Grant’s sister Louis Gibson was a bridesmaid.

THE HONEYMOON: The couple went to Tenerife with family in Easter however the two have plans to go to Sri Lanka, the Maldives and Dubai later this year.
