HOW THEY MET: They met ten years ago on a night out in Falkirk but didn’t go out until years later. They were together a short time before deciding to go travelling. They spent a year in Australia which Charlene says was the making of them.

THE PROPOSAL: It was Valentine’s night 2015, Grant decorated the flat and cooked Charlene a nice meal before spelling out his proposal “marry me” with balloons. She was shocked and delighted.

THE WEDDING: The couple were married at St Francis Xavier in Falkirk on May 25. They had 90 guests and a further 60 at the evening reception at the Beancross. Charlene says everything was perfect.
