Wedding of the Week: Cassie Law and Iain Hallahan

Cassie Law is a teacher from Falkirk and Iain Hallahan is also a teacher who is from Glasgow. The couple now live in Kilsyth with son

HOW THEY MET: They met almost seven years ago in Glasgow when both attended a CPD event for teachers.

THE PROPOSAL: Iain proposed on the fifth anniversary on August 3, 2014. Cassie said: “We were in the car on our way to dinner. He had made a playlist of all our favourite songs from throughout our relationship. It was perfect.”

THE WEDDING: They got married in the Castlecary House Hotel near Cumbernauld on April 2. They described it as a fantastic day and evening with family and friends.

THE WEDDING PARTY: Cassie’s bridesmaids were friends Gemma Hamilton, Laura Moore and Heather Lister, Iain’s best friend Andrew Blandford was his best man, while his groomsmen were brother Eddie Hallahan and cousin John Morrison. Son Max was the page boy on the big day.

THE HONEYMOON: This has still to be arranged and both are looking forward to deciding where to go.
