Wedding of the week: Ashley Sneddon and Paula Stewart

Ashley Sneddon (31), is an orientation and mobility specialist for guide dogs and Paula Stewart (30) is a resource coordinator for Falkirk Council. The couple are from Bonnybridge.

HOW THEY MET: The couple met through work. They were on the same shift together and a friendship emerged and the relationship blossomed from there.

THE PROPOSAL: Ashley proposed to Paula on July 28, 2017 while at the cliffs near Arbroath, where the ashes of Ashley’s grandmother were scattered. Paula was completely surprised by the proposal.

THE WEDDING: The wedding took place at Orocco Pier, in South Queensferry on February 23, 2019. The couple were accompanied by 34 guests during the day and 75 guests at night.

THE WEDDING PARTY: Ashley and Paula shared their bridesmaid, Lianne Keegan. Their ring bearer was Ashley’s brother Oliver Wilson (12).

THE HONEYMOON: The couple have not yet been on their honeymoon but they plan to go in June to The Greek island of Mykonos.
