HOW THEY MET: The pair met while on a night out with friends three years ago.

THE PROPOSAL: John got down on one knee while they were on holiday in Turkey. Amanda said it was a massive surprise but said yes straight away.

THE WEDDING: The couple were married on October 13, in Cyprus. Around 30 friends and family made the trip to attend the wedding, which Amanda said was amazing.

THE WEDDING PARTY: John’s best man was his closest friend Kev. Maid of Honour was Amanda’s best friend Claire Potter and her bridesmaids were Nicky, Chloe and Claire.

THE DRESS: Amanda wore a lovely ivory coloured dress. She said it was the 20th dress she tried on from Pamela Jayne’s bridal shop in Bonnybridge.

THE HONEYMOON: The couple spent an extra week in Cyprus after the wedding.

THANKS: Amanda would like to thank Stevie Bullock who gave her away and everyone who flew out for the wedding.
