The wedding of Lisa Moir and Paul Williamson
HOW THEY MET: They got “chatting” on-line in January 2013. Two months later they met for coffee in the city and the romance just grew from there!
THE PROPOSAL: Falkirk-born Paul followed the Bairns when he lived at home, but switched allegiance to the Dons soon after moving to Aberdeen in 2000. He rounded off a special day in Glasgow in March last year by popping the question shortly after Aberdeen had beaten Inverness Caly Thistle to win the League Cup.
THE WEDDING: The service on March 14 this year was held in the Maryculter House Hotel in Aberdeenshire and attended by 93 guests with another 40 joining the couple at an evening reception to celebrate.
THE WEDDING PARTY: Lisa’s bridesmaid was best friend Lesley Geddes, and Paul’s best man was Grant Tierney, a work colleague and best mate for the last 15 years.
THE DRESS: Lisa wore a full length lace gown designed by Justin Alexander.
THE HONEYMOON: A trip to New York and Canada is planned for next month.
THANKS: To parents and friends for their generous gifts and for being part of such a wonderful day.
