Wedding of the week: Eilidh McClure and Liam Logan

Eilidh McClure (26) is a market researcher, while Liam Logan works in construction. The couple are from Hallglen.

HOW THEY MET: The couple met during a night out on the town.

THE PROPOSAL: On Christmas morning 2012 Liam proposed to Eilidh in their home.

THE WEDDING: The couple were married in Cyprus on October 16, 2018. They were accompanied by 55 guests who travelled to attend the wedding and reception.

THE WEDDING PARTY: Eilidh’s chief bridesmaid was Melissa Hastings, who was joined by a further two bridesmaids, Rachel Easton and Leigh Howieson. Liam’s bestman was his brother Grant Logan. The couple had two flower girls, seven-year-old Sophie Cairns and eight-year-old Olivia Cairns, and two page boys, six-year-old Jack Logan and four-year-old Leo Logan. Gregor Mcewan was the usher.

THE HONEYMOON: The couple did not have a separate honeymoon but were in Cyprus the week before and after their wedding and took the time to enjoy the sunshine.

THANKS: The couple would like to thank both sets of parents for all their help. Also, Eilidh would like to thank Melissa for doing her hair and doing other bridesmaid duties.
