Wedding of the Week: Amanda Conlin and David Johnstone

THE COUPLE: Amanda (24) works in admin and David (26) is a gas fitter. The couple live in Camelon with their two-year-old son Theo and they are expecting a little girl in June.

HOW THEY MET: Amanda and David met each other at a house party through friends in 2007.

THE PROPOSAL: David proposed in La Terazza restaurant in Port Adriano in Spain. The family were visiting Amanda’s sister Emma as she was working there for the summer and Theo helped to surprise Amanda with an engagement ring.

THE WEDDING: The couple were married on November 14 at the Beancross Hotel with around 90 guests and 160 at the reception.

THE WEDDING PARTY: Amanda’s sister, Emma Pollock, best friend, Laura McNee, cousin, Amber White and David’s sister, Zoe Johnstone were bridesmaids. Her niece, Loulou Pollock was the flower girl. Alan Gallacher was the best man and the three ushers were Ryan Brown, Ross Radley and Charlie Pollock. Nicky Pollock and son, Theo, were page boys.

THE HONEYMOON: The newlyweds recently bought a brand new house so they decided to put the honeymoon on hold to concentrate on their new home.
