HOW THEY MET: The couple were neighbours for a few years before getting together in 2003.

THE PROPOSAL: Chris got down on one knee on their daughter’s first Christmas in 2005.

THE WEDDING: The ceremony took place in Callander House on May 7 where they were joined by 70 guests. It was then on to the Park Hotel for the reception where there were a further 40 guests. Gemma said the day was perfect from beginning to end but went far too quickly.

THE WEDDING PARTY: Maid of honour was Lisa Mcleish with the couple’s daughter Rebecca (10) as the other bridesmaid. Nieces Alyx Jack-Bryce (5) and Lily Bryce (6) were flower girls. Chris’s best friend Keith Jardine was the best man, while the ushers were the couple’s younger brothers, Calvin Straiton (19) and John Bryce (21).

THE HONEYMOON: The couple and Rebecca are looking forward to a special family holiday in June.
