Met Office issues warning for heavy rain

A yellow weather warning for heavy rain has been issued for large parts of Scotland.

The Met Office says homes and businesses in the Central Belt could be affected by downpours today, while transport networks are also likely to be impacted.

A statement indicates the following outcomes could materialise:
