Flood alert for Falkirk as Storm Dennis hits Central

SEPA has today issued a flood alert for Falkirk, with localised flooding of roads and rising river levels all posing a potential threat.

There’s also a Met Office Yellow warning for wind and rain across the area until 8pm tonight.

However while heavy rain is expected to continue into Sunday the area isn’t so far in the same league as those where severe warnings are in force.
