Water problems in Falkirk area

Scottish Water customers, specifically in FK1 and FK8 postcodes, may be experiencing no water this morning.

A statement on their website reads: “We have one of our operatives looking into this at the moment and as soon as we know what the cause of the problem is we will let you know.

“If you stay in this area and still have some supply coming through, try save some water in case it goes off completely.

“We apologise for this and will try and get your taps flowing normally as quickly as we can. We will update this message as soon as more information becomes available to us.”

Scottish Water teams are continuing to deal with calls and respond to reports from customers across the country as a thaw sets in, following the heavy snow storms of last week.
