Voice of Bonnybridge is set for 'D-Day'

Tonight's episode of music talent show The Voice is 'D-Day' for Bonnybridge songbird Sarah Morgan '“ and the whole town is rooting for her.

Bonnybridge’s best-known kebab shop worker has battled her way through the early stages to win a coveted place in the live rounds, where she’ll be part of “Team Gavin”.

The 16-year-old has promised her army of local fans she’ll give it everything she’s got.

She’s also spoken of her relief at getting through the trauma of the initial stages, knowing that whatever happens now she’s definitely “a contender”.

She hopes to pursue a career in singing, and the brutal testing ground of mainstream popular television is arguably as tough an audition as she’s ever likely to face.

Dozens of well-wishers took to local community Facebook site Bonnybridge Banter to cheer her on this weekend - and to urge everyone to vote for her.

Episode 13 of The Voice - lucky for some - is on STV at 7.45pm.
